How do I apply a new Rocna or Vulcan Anchor label?

< 1 min read

Follow these steps to replace your Rocna or Vulcan anchor label properly:

  1. Remove the old label by carefully sliding a razor knife between the anchor and the label to cut through the adhesive.

  2. Scrape off the old adhesive using a razor knife, putty knife, or scraper. Be careful not to scratch the anchor surface outside the label area.

  3. Clean off any remaining residue with acetone. Make sure the surface is clean and completely dry before applying the new label.

  4. Peel off the backing from the new label. Line it up carefully, then apply starting from one side and pressing firmly across to the other.

  5. Press down firmly by hand over the entire label to ensure strong adhesion.

  6. (Optional) A thin clear film may be covering the label to protect it during shipping. If so, peel it off gently from one corner. A fingernail usually works well—just take care not to scratch the label underneath.

That’s it—your anchor is labeled and ready to go.
